In the big and open data era, we are increasingly required to understand data in a high-throughput manner.
Our research group studies visual analytics, which supports analytical reasoning by integrating cutting-edge data analysis and information visualization techniques to facilitate the research process and scientific discovery through data-driven analysis.
RESEARCH
With the development of measurement and computing technologies, vast amounts of data are being acquired. In collaboration with researchers in various research fields such as life sciences, ecology, and humanities, we are promoting data-driven analysis that integrates state-of-the-art data analysis and information visualization technologies to study the dynamics of phenomena. We are researching the relationship between humans and computing through visualization and visual perception.
