The lecture title was “Understanding System Dynamics by Combining Empirical Dynamic Modeling and Data Visualization,” where I discussed efforts in visual analysis that combine Empirical Dynamic Modeling, a nonlinear dynamics analysis, with data visualization. Additionally, participating in the week-long Workshop at OIST allowed for interaction with researchers from around the world in neuroscience, applied mathematics, etc., and an exchange of views on future research and collaboration. I am grateful to Prof. Gerald Pao and everyone at OIST for hosting, and it was a meaningful Workshop where I could converse with many co-researchers and others.
